Tamale Making Parties
Weekly tamale‑making gatherings help provide warm, homemade meals to families affected by immigration enforcement.
What began as a simple act of care is slowly growing as more neighbors and volunteers join in.
Each gathering brings people together to prepare tamales that are delivered directly to families navigating moments of crisis.
Our community has come together to make over 600 tamales so far - each one a small gesture of comfort and support.
How to support this effort?
Community members can support by hosting a tamale‑making party with friends, coworkers, or volunteers.
All you need is a kitchen, 6-10 volunteers and $200 to help fund the ingredients and materials. We will provide the rest!
